What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first appointment usually includes a thorough oral examination, any necessary X-rays, and a conversation about your dental history and goals. We'll talk you through what we find, explain your options clearly, and work with you to build a treatment plan that suits your needs - with no pressure and no surprises.

What to Bring

To help your first visit run smoothly, please bring:

• Your Medicare card

• Your private health insurance details (if applicable)

• A list of any medications you're currently taking

• Any referral letters from your GP or another dentist (if relevant)

If you're not sure whether something is relevant, bring it along anyway. It's always easier for us to have more information than less.

We understand that visiting the dentist can be daunting, especially for anxious patients - that's why we take the time to walk you through every step of any procedure, using clear explanations, pictures, and models to ease any concerns. For procedures involving an injection, we use a numbing gel to minimise discomfort. And for patients who need it, we offer general anaesthetic facilities onsite, so sleep dentistry is also an option - ensuring your experience is as stress-free as possible.
