How It Works
1. Refer your patient
Contact our team to discuss your patient's needs and confirm a suitable GA session date. We'll ask for basic patient information and a brief outline of the planned treatment.
2. We coordinate the anaesthetic team
Our specialist anaesthetist will conduct a pre-operative assessment with your patient. You focus on the clinical work — we take care of everything else.
3. You treat, we support
On the day, you will bring your dental assistants to assist you. Our anaesthetist manages the GA and monitors your patient continuously.
4. Recovery and handback
After the procedure, your patient recovers in our private recovery room under the supervision of our anaesthetist’s nurse. Once cleared, your patient will be discharged and returned to your ongoing care.
5. Billing
You bill your patient directly for your clinical work and for the GA facility component. You will then transfer the GA facility fee to Ballarat Family Dental. There is no cost to you or your practice at any point.
