Lydia Ang
Oral Health Therapist // BOralH (The University of Queensland)
Lydia graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland and brings more than 12 years of private practice experience to Ballarat Family Dental. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to every person who sits in her chair.
Lydia enjoys working with patients of all ages, from young children to adults. She believes education is one of the most powerful tools in dental care, and she's passionate about empowering her patients with the knowledge and skills to maintain good oral and periodontal health for life. By taking the time to understand each patient's individual needs, Lydia provides tailored advice and treatment delivered in a gentle, supportive manner an approach patients often describe as calming, especially if they feel anxious about visiting the dentist.
Outside the practice, Lydia leads an active lifestyle. She loves sport climbing, swimming, and spending quality time outdoors with her family and she's currently working towards her next fitness goal: a slow muscle-up.
Lydia can also speak Mandarin fluently.
