Dr Karina Harilal

Dr Karina Harilal was born in Fiji and grew up in Melbourne. In 2015, she moved to Ballarat with her family and studied at Ballarat High School during her final two years of high school. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University in Bendigo.

Karina is aware that a myriad of patients experience anxiety in a dental environment, and strive to ensure that all her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She is passionate in improving her patients’ confidence in their smile, optimizing their oral health, and providing an exceptional service while also focusing on alleviating any anxiety through her calm and gentle approach. Karina enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in preventative and restorative dentistry.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling to explore different cultures and cuisines, going out for long walks, experimenting with new recipes (while praying that it turns out edible!), and spending quality time with friends and family.
