Dr Becky Chen

Dr Becky Chen graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 and has been working in Ballarat since 2011. She feels privileged to work with people of all ages and walks of life. Being born into a family of teachers, she loves connecting with her patients, hearing their goals and then giving them bespoke approaches to achieving it.

Becky's approachable and friendly nature helps relax anxious and young patients. She is accredited in the use of relative sedation and to treat patients under General Anaesthesia.

She is a dedicated dentist who believes in modern practicing principles, high quality patient care and service. To achieve this, she is constantly seeking opportunities to tie in modern technology with progressive practicing principles. Her special areas of interest in dentistry include adult cosmetic orthodontics, as well as working closely with children and their families in general dentistry.

Apart from being a dentist, Becky is also a passionate emotional intelligence coach as well as a speaker and facilitator in the area of dental talent and team leadership.

Out of all aspects of her life, however, Becky considers her greatest joy to be her family life where she is the mother to two beautiful boys and wife to a web developer. In her spare time, she enjoys performing arts, reading and spending quality time with her friends and family.
